SBSEC C.I.C. in partnership with Sustrans Scotland have an opportunity to access two funded Ride Leader training opportunities, open to social enterprises, community groups and organisations across the Scottish Borders, which as a rural area which may have less opportunities to undertake training of this kind.
Each opportunity is a one-day training course delivered by Cycling Scotland, with a maximum of 8 places (minimum of 5) more information about the course can be found here: https://www.cycling.scot/what-we-do/training/cycle-ride-leader
The two opportunities can be delivered throughout March or April 2023 (Must be confirmed during March 2023)
We are looking for:
Suitable locations – where people can travel to relatively easily but may not receive this kind of opportunity very often.
A venue with a traffic free outdoor space within walking distance with a room to securely leave belongings, where indoor instruction can be provided and where the group can eat lunch will be beneficial.
